The new Grand Paris Express Charles de Gaulle T2 station is located on line 17 of the Grand Paris public transport network. It is an intermodal transit hub, with links to high-speed rail (TGV) and a bus station, among other mode of transit. The station is a highly frequented part of the airport city and terminal complex, and many political, administrative, ecological and technical constraints had to be taken into account.
On one side, the station concourse offers a view of the airport horizon through a panoramic area without visual obstacles. From the tarmac, the landmark building manifests itself as a new element of the infrastructural landscape, opening up to the traveler as they arrive.
